C2 Re-paint

My painter and I are debating a few details-

what is the proper door jamb finish and gloss level ?

also, need a new windshield. There appears to be rubber moulding on the exterior between the glass and chrome trim both inside and outside. Is there a proper part name for each of these ? Any recommendations for LOF glass ?

Finally, a few post ago I asked about a drooping nose which one painter believed I had. My present guy says no. He put a level on the side gills and body crease and it is level. He thinks the doors are hung poorly and the rocker moulding hung too high in front. Unfair question but does this sound plausable ?

the door jamb and the exterior paint were all painted at the same time . the exterior was lightly buffed . the jambs were not. the black rubber is the windshield seal or weatherstrip Im sure Joe will give you a part #.no way to tell on the front with out seeing . it could be anything from poor repairs to a bent frame or rusted bird cage Bill

Windshield weatherstrip, one piece, original part number 3844047 for convert, 3844049 for coupe, in parts group 10.092. Corvette vendors offer them for about $45
