In the 33 years that my 70 convertible has been around, she must have been hit and they did some front end body work. It now has 69 grills on it. Will 70 grills fit in the same space and if so what modifications are needed. Anybody have a reasonably priced set of 70 grills (ha ha).

Hi Jeff. I just purchased a set of very nice restored grills from an individual in Chicago for $850. I found them advertised in Hemmings. I do not consider that price reasonable but the supply of 70 grills is very limited. A few things that you should check before purchasing the grills are:
1. Ensure that the three studs at bottom of the grills are not broken or missing.
2. Ensure that the parking light lens mounting posts are not broken or have screws broken in the holes.
