    C3: under body sheet metal.

Most of my sheet metal stuff (splash shield etc) under the body is in bad shape.

But particularily the reinforcements under the front wheel wells. And especially the hood reinforcement piece on the left. The only place I found that has replacement is Cladonea. Is there anyone else?? Who would have a complete set of either NOS or correct parts (seat belt reinf. etc. , I haven't done an inventory of them all yet)?

    Thanks

    Steve,

Caledonia and CSC Reproduction (www.csereproducions.com)in Rocky River, Ohio are about the only manufacturers of the parts you describe. I talked with both at Corvettes at Carlisle in August about the same parts, but for a 1972, of which some parts are different for a 1973. Both of them had parts in the tooling stage that they were going to reproduce, but would not be available for another couple months to a year or more. They were both very helpful and informative on these parts, relating to the differences in model years. Hope this helps. Dave

      Steve,

Sorry, mis-typed CSC web address, it's "www.cscreproductions.com". Dave

Steve, have 72 conv and just about all the brackets (seatbelt reinforcemtnt, #4 reinforcements, #4 tower mount inner bracket, etc) were rusted and I got stuff from CorvetteCentral? Looks fine to me. I did not even try to find the LH sill extension which was severely rusted away. I fabricated an extension that I personally think is stronger than the original one would have been--maybe not? Got to be stronger or atleast as strong as any aluminum rivet(s) in other reinforcements--its welded! If you are interested, I will try and take a picture today of the sill/extension that I repaired. Who would ever see it? Out of site out of mind.
