I recently had the steel wheels off my '66 and they are marked on the inside 15 x 5 1/2 JK along with the Kelsey Hays stamp and logo. Two of the wheels have what appears to be an inspection stamp of 67 and one of them has a 5 and a 65 stamped on it and the fourh wheel only has the K.H. stamp. All of the wheels have GM stamped on the front of the wheel near the lug nut holes.
Could someone please help me identify these wheels or tell me what the correct markings should be. Thanking you in advance.
Take a look at the last three (or four) issues of the "Restorer". There was a series of three (or four) articles dealing with GM steel wheels. If you don't find your answer in the articles, I am sure that the author can answer your questions.
