When I purchased my new 73, I got a nifty plastic credit card type thingy from GM with my name on it, welcoming me to a GM Corvette club and they will be sending me club information ---well---- just like the orphaned bride, I still have my 73 coupe and my card, and I am still waiting to hear from them and check my mail everyday, but I still got nutin.
Still in waitin state

Re: GM Corvette Club plastic card-30 yrs later *TL*
Steve if that is the same card I got with my 1969 and 1970 it gave you a free subscription to "Corvette News." I can not now recall when it changed to become necessary to pay for it, but I think it was a ways past 1973. Someone else with abetter memory than mine will likely post that part.
In late 1981, at the start of Volume 25, Corvette News went to 4 issues per year instead of the usual 6 issues per year. I believe at that point Corvette News became a "paid for" subscription. The plastic card came with the Owners Kit which was also obtained by returning the card at the front of the Owners manual.
