is where to get lacquer....if u want to drive that far....couple automotive paint suppliers still have the lacquor to mix any color. You won't find any factory mixed paint.

The PPG jobber here still mixes lacquer, and has some of the more common colors like Tuxedo Black in Factory Pak. Apparently the manufacturer still produces the material as he is getting Factory Pak colors all the time. I think that it simply boils down to dealers not wanting to devote the space to a very slow moving product. I would expect that soon all lacquer will be purchased from a small group of suppliers who will sell nationwide,much like all the other suppliers of corvette parts that we buy!

My body shop got it in Boston, Mass.. I think he called somebody at DuPont. DuPont or their distributor also sent out somebody to do that photo-something analysis so that they could match the color exactly. They did.
