    '56 Powerglide

Is the '56 passenger car powerglide the same as the Corvette? I might have an incorrect one now and thought if the passenger car was the same I just may switch over. Thanks!

Yes! but for the torque converter, Corvette uses twice the bolts becouse GM thought the high RPM might couse a leak. But the car converter will work fine.55 -57 CAR not WAGON

      Roy,
Wasn't there a difference in the tail shaft housing as well? It has been several years since I watched your video, but I thought that passenger car tailshaft housings do not have provisions for shifter mounting.

Use your old tail shaft that is on the trans you have.
