    1969 Taillight

Can some one advise if the inside between the lens gasket and the bulb socket on the brake and backup light housings for a 1969 are painted white or are natural (galvanized)? Also, were does the felt wick go in the these housings and is the wick judged in NCRS Flight Judging?

    Thanks,

    George-----

The inside of the tail lamp and back-up lamp housings on 68-69 Corvettes is "natural". It is NOT finished in white as some other Corvette tail lamp housings were. This applies to both PRODUCTION and SERVICE assemblies.

There is no felt wick that I am aware of used on the 68-69 lamp assemblies.
