The literature suggests that the long nuts for knock off adaptors are gold plated, and std lug nuts are zinc/silver plated.
The standard lug nuts on my '69 are gold colored, and have 3 small triangular indentations on the outer surface, centered around the circumference of the nut.
Could these be the originals for the '69? Would they also be the same for a '66?
Were mid year std lug nuts silver? Were they stamped with the small indentations?
thanks for any trivia!
