Bought one of those marvelous disconnects way back and cannot seem to find where
I found it. (side mount GM type)
Perhaps someone in Driveline??
It's the rotary wheel type where quarter turn loose cuts the circuit and full removal acts as theft deterrant.
If anybody knows...??
Thx
Jim
Jim - you can get these at almost any of the corvette suppliers. I bought several in Carlisle this summer....someone had 5 gallon pails of them at $5 for two...I think they retail for about $10 a pop in the catalogs. They are great for any stored car....Craig
I found the guy in an old issue of Driveline..May/June 2001
Restoration Battery in Cincinnati.
Anyone got his name/number??..only shows an address.
Thx
Jim
Many of the vendors sell them but, in my experience, the blade type is a better approach. I often had to really crank down on the green knob to get a good connection. The blade style either is in or out.

on the name of the mfgr/source, but both the 'green wonder' knob based switch and its knife switch action 'big brother' are made by the same mfgr who will sell direct. Lacking a memory 'recharge' you can find both versions listed in the JC Whitney catalog and I MUCH prefer the knife switch action version since it gives solid tactile feedback of open/close and appears to have superior switch contact surface area. Both come in top post and side post versions.
