    1956/62 Fresh Air Hose

    I have learned in the past 2 days that Dr. Rebuild no longer stocks the correct OEM Fresh Air Hoses for 1956/62 Corvettes. I believe Dr. Rebuild will now begin stocking the current reproduction that the other parts houses stock. Does anyone know where one can find a correct fresh air hose now that Dr. Rebuild no longer stocks the item?

      John,

      I got mine from Mary Jo Rohner but I don't know how correct it is.

      It looks the same as any that I've seen in all of my books and magazines with correct cars.

          John,
          Possibly this will be of some help. I took dimensions of what was thought to be the original '57 fresh air hose and also a known Chevroled dealer over the counter freah air hose. Both were very old and somewhat fragile. In their normal streched out position and measureing across 10 rib windings (of covered wire) = 3 3/4". Or, between each winding about 3/8". Regards,
