    Mid Year Body Shims

When I took the body off my '63, I dutifully ziplock bagged and tagged the shims from each position. The body sat on a dolly for 4 years while I redid the chassis. I just put the body back on and it seems that the rear most mounts could each use an extra shim or two. Should I add some shims or just pull the body down to meet the shims as they were? The doors close well as the body sits now with the bolts untightened. (I did have a little bit of welding done on the frame- cut out and replaced about 8" the bottom of the left main side rail just before the kick up.) Thanks for any advice!!

    Re: Mid Year Body Shims

After almost 40 years there is no reason to think that the same number of shims would be required now as then. Shim as required.
