    Original owner 63 FI coupe

I know 3 original owner 63 FI coupes.

#3) Gary Mortimer met him about 1980 in San Mateo or possibly earlier. Still has his car.

#2) David VanWeele met him earlier around 1976 at the “Big Stamford CT” swap meet. Still has his car

#1) My Aunt Sylvia, well let’s sat I met her prior to 1963. She got me started in Corvettes back in 1963. Yesterday, November 1st I was in the lower Catskill’s celebrating her 85th Birthday. I bought her a watercolor of flowers that I found in Vermont the same weekend Dave McLellan, John Fitch & Jerry Burton were at the Springfield Vermont Corvette Museum. Got my wife one for a gift also which is shown here.

My aunt and wife loved their paintings. Real nice Corvettes are a work of art also.

PS I think a Gypsy Red 55 would look real nice too. Like that one I saw recently.

No disrespect intended. If that is a current picture of your Aunt at 85, she really looks a lot younger than 85. I bet she was much admired in 63 driving her new Corvette.

I'm assuming that Aunt Sylvia no longer owns the Fuelie SWC. Correct? Got any idea where it is now?

          How could a '63 have N-11 and two-bar KOs?

            The KO's were delivered

They KO were delivered much later, about 1975 and what is really unusual, is that they were delivered at Fall Carlisle, on Row J, just a spot or two from my Fall location. If I recall correctly, they cost me two complete 63 coupe doors with manual windows and $1000 - but I would have to check the prices on the aged tank sticker I will be ordering.

            Its very correct. Ask anyone.

"Delivered in 1975" - Sorry, Doc

but what does that mean? Delivered by who? The "2 bar" knockoffs themselves are the same part # as the Corvair knockoffs for their wire wheels......as ALWAYS, I remain confused.....

                Re: The KO's were delivered

Okay, that explains the KOs. What about the N-11s. They didn't have the
kinks to fit the "tool wells" on the early cars and the NCRS Spec Guide
doesn't list any factory installed N-11 optinos for '63.

The pipes were delivered after the strike. There was a strike in the St Louis cafeteria. Zora was staying in my guest house while on vacation and was teaching me how to kink pipes between the tool trays. He taught me so much that I forgot most. Honest. Plus it’s on my yank sticker.

Loren back then you got a free Corvair with the purchase of a 63 FI Corvette. I don’t know it was early incentives or a Brass hat car.

                    Re: The KO's were delivered

Gee, if I knew I would have gotten a free Corvair with FI I would have ordered L-84 instead of L-76. Guess I missed out.

                      GOLD STAR!!! CARVING NEW

ground with the "free Corvair" story. Watch this one grow as a truly great supplement to the "factory prototype" line. Good job, Doc.

                        Doc,
A Corvair? Was it the Turbo Spider with AWD?
All I got was a ChevyII Nova when I took delivery of my S/N 29,816 1963 Z06 with the highly desired L88 fuel injection and 6 speed, side pipes, am/fm/CD, cup holders, and radar detector.
