I am rebuilding the frontend on my 65 Roadster and would like to install the new ball joints with rivets. Does anyone know of a place I can have this done in the Charlotte NC area?
Who's ball joints are you using? About 10 years ago, a vendor at Knoxville with the word "Power" in his company name (that's all I can remember) had dead right ball joints. I ordered a set or two, but have long since lost the address. All the ones I've seen since aren't even close. I could sure use a couple of sets of dead correct uppers if anybody knows a source.
I made a tool for my press and got some rivets at an industrial supply and they look real authentic when installed.
Tony's Corvette Shop in Gaithersburg, MD did the riveting on both my 63 and my 69. That's about a 7 hour drive for you....BUT closer than Bair's in the Erie, PA area. Chuck

I got the ball joints and the rivets from Volunteer, they are in Knoxville. The uppers are not very true to original, they have a pretty flat top on them, but I am told they are about the best reproduction part available. Thanks for the response.
