Goldline Repro Tires

The NCRS Tech Manual (pg 53) describes correct 7.75 X 15 Goldline tires manufactured as follows:

Firestone Super Sports
Goodyear Power Cushion

I found the Goodyears offered by Kelsey Tire but have not found the Firestone Super Sports (Coker offers Deluxe Champion - not Super Sports). Anyone have a line on where to purchase the Firestone Super Sports ?

I'm sure somebody'll correct my poor memory on this, but I thought that the SuperSports originated with the Wide Ovals, which of course were 70 series and several years later??????????

I'm going by the 1966 Tech Judging Guide page 53 stating Firestone Super Sports and Goodyear Power Cushion as the brands that Goldlines were available. I can only assume this is correct. My question was whether the Firestone Super Sports are offered today as reproductions and if so by what vendor.

I have looked high and low for repro goldline Super Sports. I have yet to find them anywhere.

I thought I saw a picture of original Super Sport goldlines in Dobbins' book. I dont know why a company ike Coker would even go through the trouble of making a reproduction tire that was not used in the model year. The same is true for BF Goodrich. Why is Coker making Goldline and Redline tires with the BF Goodrich name. They get killed during judging.

The best tire to buy for judging are the Goodyears.
