I've got a 1969 with a 350 that had headers on it when I bought it. One of the gasket between the headers and the exhaust pipe has fallen apart and I need to get another one. I don't know the make of the headers, and don't have any idea where to find the gasket. It is round in the center with three holes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: 1969 Header Gasket
Bill header gaskets should be pretty easy to come by. If you cannot find them locally just go to Summits web page or call them and place your order. They offer free shipping. I would think Auto Zone or Advance Auto, or any auto parts store that sells "Mr. Gasket" products would have the gaskets or could order them overnight. Perhaps unknown to you is the history of Mr. Gasket. He started his business selling header gaskets out of the trunk of his car at race tracks, the rest is history. He no longer owns the company, I believe Holley now owns it.- Top

Re: 1969 Header Gasket
Jim and Scott----
The lower u-brackets WITH studs are not commonly available in the reproduction marketplace. However, I'd suggest contacting Coffman Manufacturing Co which is located in Florida. This is the company that manufactures the reproduction radiator supports and, presumably, they have the u-brackets with studs attached. GM NEVER sold the lower u-brackets as a seperate part; they were available only as part of the radiator support assembly.
I don't have the number for Coffman, but they advertise in Chevy/Corvette Trader and Vette Vues, if not other magazines. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
