Re-Plating Bumpers

While my baby is "resting" this winter, I want to get the bumpers for my 1965 convertable re-plated. Can anyone recommend a good vendor that does nice work at a reasonable cost? Since I have never needed this service before, what would constitute a reasonable cost?

I won't say low cost...

Because they are NOT. On my summer job I have sent parts to Frankford Plating in Philadelphia. Only complaints we have had is -expensive- (you get what you pay for), -time consuming- (so don't wait until 6 weeks before a big show), and -quality- (many have complained the parts are better than new - could be a problem if you are trying to duplicate mediocre factory plating).

I've used Hanlon Plating out of Richmond VA. They do 2-step plating and are reasonably priced. When they rechromed my rear bumpers in 1999, I paid $125 each. Their prices may have risen since then. The turnaround time was amazing, 1 week.
