Can someone please provide me with some information regarding the Vet Fest?

This is NOT an NCRS event. It's sponsored by Mid America Promotions, Inc. of Justice, IL. Meet is a 'by invitation' affair with folks with all forms of Chevy powered vehicles (Corvair, Chevelle, Corvette, Etc.) submitting background info on their car and being 'invited' to bring it for display and/or factory concours judging.

The meet has been held in Chicago's McCormick Center making it a LARGE indoor show. Adjacent to the concours cars is an active swap meet area that is pretty big and complete. I've been to this show more than once and found it to be EXCELLENT. The last phone number I show is (708) 563-4300 for Mid America Promotions and I suspect they have a web site too.

I've been to this show ONCE. I live in Chi-town 'burbs and wouldn't waste my time driving to this meet. The price for parking is outrageous and the entrance fee is worse. Don't waste your time; I won't.

Same here. I'm only a 3 hour drive, and don't go. To put it in comparison, I drive to Bloomington and Carlisle each year.

Or would you be referring to an event held in Effingham, IL on the Mid America Designs property? Mike Yager offers one of the best show up and enjoy Corvette events in the Midwest. Each year more and more Corvettes, thousands not hundreds!, He is very gracious, opens up his museum to the public and offers a free lunch to pre registed Corvettes. Mike brings in some very interesting displays which add to his collection of unique Corvette Memorabilia. I would recommend the two days of fun to all.
