The lower shaft of my '65 telescopic column is bent about 1/4". I think it best to rebuild the column while this shaft is being replaced. Could anyone please recommend a rebuilder? As always, your advice is greatly appreciated. Mark

Mark-----
The only source that I know of for steering column rebuilding is Corvette Steering Service (www.corvettesteering.com). However, I don't know if they still do 63-67 columns, or not. It seems like someone told me that they do not, but my recollection is "foggy" on this subject. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Can't recommend, as I have no personal experience:

Re: C2: Tele Column Rebuilders?
Mark,
If Corvette Steering no longer does it, you can blame me and my partners. When he restored our 66 column last year, he said he'd never do another as they just took too much time and effort versus what he charged.
He may have changed his mind. If Tom still does them, I can vouch that he does a great job.
