At a recent regional meet I took a deduct for the screws on the carb body of my 60 not being zinc plated. Dale Pearman swears that the screws are grey phospate, so I made them so. Is the accepted norm for judging a zinc/cad plate or was this just one judge's opnion? It really does not make any difference to me which way is accepted, as I will change them to conform, but I would hate to re-plate them only to have another judge say they they should be grey phospate.
