I would like some information on the removal of my clock in my 1960. I know that there are some sort of springs to depress but not really sure. Also, the H.W. connetion term. on the rear is missing. Can this be replaced.
To remove the clock, depress the clock from the passender compartment and twist counterwlockwise. If it has been a long time since removal, you may have to pull from behind the console and twist, since you can get a better gip.
The wire connection can be replaced by an ordinary spade terminal. It is also advisable to install a 1 amp in line fuse in this circuit to protect both the clock winding mechanism and the car's electrical circuit.
