    Older car nuts?

At breakfast I saw a group of auto enthusiasts which has a median age somewhere between us and death: the local Model A club. Hot damn, it was sobering. They were all talking loud at the same time and fondling bran muffins.

Is this what we look like to the Ricers?

Ricers don't eat breakfast - they're all out waxing their decals and shining their fart-pipes! (while we're looking for Grecian Formula and fondling $300 reproduction N89 screwdrivers)

Reminds me of way back to the commencement ceremony the day I graduated from college. There was an honorary group present celebrating their 10th reunion, and they were asked to stand as a group for recognition. I remember looking at them and their pot-bellies, thinking, "oh God, is that what I'll look like in just 10 years???" Now I wish I looked even one-quarter that good.

I recently heard that the Model A club was now larger than it has ever been!

It doesn't really matter; we're the ones with Corvettes.

And you and I are younger than everyone else who has posted in the thread so far.
