    Seat back locks on 67'

Anyone have any luck getting these to work reliably. It's a pretty poor design!! I opened the seats up to rebuild them and thought there may be some adjustments or tips I should be aware of while I have them apart. I would appreciate any suggestions!! Thanks in advance!! Mike Arteaga #34566

    Mike -

About the only "adjustment" is bending the rod from the release handle rod crank down to the release lever.

      Mike,
What is the problem with yours? I had to rebuild mine and although a challenge, it was not dificult. Are you missing parts? Do parts keep self dis-assembling and becoming non-functional?

Don and John, Looks like the the stop on the opposite side of the seat needs triming because it dosen't seem to allow the seat to drop far enough to trigger the lock mechanism and the release lever is spinning on the ridiculously tinny shaft that exits the seat. Thanks I'll keep tinkering. All the parts seem to be here I'm completely diassembling them cleaning them up and hopefully they will be problem free!!! Thanks again!! Mike Arteaga
