    C2 Head Light Adjustment

What is the procedure to adjust the low beam head lights? I've noticed that the light beams on my C2 are not straight and pointing off to the side. Also, I assume the procedure is the same for the high beams? Thanks

If you remove the headlight trim cover you should be able to locate the adjusting screws around the perimeter of the light bulb. In Massachusetts all State approved inspection stations have a target to line the headlights up with. I would think alot of service stations would have such a device. The shop manual may also tell you what the proper target hight and distance should be. Just turn the screws in or out until the lights are aimed properly. The screws are spring loaded to hold the bulb snug. Hi and Low beam adjust the same way.

John-Modern headlamps are not designed to be aimed straight ahead. The target for low beams is slightly down and to the right of center to avoid excess glare on oncoming traffic. The high beams however should be more centered and somewhat higher than the low beams. You should be able to see the difference between the high and low beams on a garage door at night from about 20 ft away if the driveway is close to level. My 35 year old T-3's are not putting out enough light to blind anyone.
