Re: Engines Linited
I am currently working with Randy on a correct 64 block, heads, and muncie for my early model 65. It seems that he is pretty backed up with work, and I hope to have the block and heads within the next month. Randy has been very good with communicating, and returning phone calls. So far I feel comfortable with the deal, but you should expect to wait a while to get your engine. If you are looking at doing the swap in a couple of months, I would contact him now and get the project going. One big positive that I can say is that he does not charge you until the project is shipped out....Unlike some other people who charge you a deposit, or the full amount, then don't deliver in the promised time frame..- Top

Re: Engines Linited
I am currently using Engines Unlimited for an short block engine for restoration of a '58. They were able to come up with the correct block and head castings with casting dates in the month needed. Randy also refered me to the appropriate NCRS judges with questions I had on this engine.
I will not be picking up the engine until next month but he seems reputable and good to work with and is even taking a '63 block I own as a partial trade for this '58 engine.- Top

Re: Engines Linited
I used Randy several years ago to aquire a bare samll block for my '67. The first one he sent me, (decked and re-stamped) had a crack in one of the main webs that was found at the machine shop. I called him and he immediately sent me another block no questions asked.- Top
