C-3 1968 Carpet Installation

I am in the process of installing my rear area, bottom center carpet in my 1968 Convertible. The assembly manual that I have only shows the installation in a coupe. I need help in two areas:
1. Does the top of the center flooring carpet that is installed onto the rear verticle panel get glued under the vent drain channel, or is it glued over the vent drain channel up to the vent area?
2. How is the light bracket attached to the left rear hinge? Is the bracket attached to the inside or the outside of the inner most hinge upright and what kind of bolt holds it on?

Hopefully this is clear. This one, was a hard one to describe. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Steve in finally looking at my original owner 68 convetible, the rear compartment interior light is mounted at the bottom of the drivers side hinge. The light bracket mounts on the outside of the hinge bracket and on the vertical portion that faces the compartment. You should be able to find a hole in this area to mount yours. The light bracket is attached with a sheet metal type screw and the head is 5/16, I did not take mine out to measure, but would guess that it is between 1/2 inch and 3/4 inches in length.
I replaced the carpet in my 68 about 15 years ago and can't remember how much of the original carpet was glued. I did see looking at my rear compartment light that there is dried glue residue on the hinge bracket.
