    67/Jack/handle set

Do I buy a jack/handle set (GM)from say, Mid America for $ 175. or pay more? or less? for an original set..I'm very confused on what I should buy as far as replacement/missing parts..

Long Island sells a very close reproduction for 175.00, add another 10.00 and they'll stamp a date code on it for you.

GM started dated coding jacks in January of 67. If your car was built before then, you do not need a date code.

i think i paid about $100 for a correct dated jack for my 69 at Carlisle a few years ago to give you a ballpark figure for a used one.........

Kenny - the midyears are narrower than the shark cars...and the price goes up. Seems like dated original midyears are at least 2X your price..Craig
