    1970 Brake Block Color

Hi - Was the main brake block, in the engine compartment on the left side of the frame where all of the brake lines connect, painted or was it installed with the natural brass finish? Also were the brake line clips painted or left natural steel? I know the brake lines were installed after black-out and are the natural steel finish.

    Thanks

    Lee

The brake fluid distribution block and pressure switch was natural brass. The brake line clips were unpainted.

There was no "chassis blackout" on C3's (other than the mufflers through the mid-70's - later C3 cars had no blackout at all).
