'58 - Wires through firewall question

In my notes and drawings from inspecting other C1s, I wrote that through the hole where the wiper motor cable goes through, there is also a wire. I wrote "sensor wire." With my wiring harness (Lectric Limited), I don't see how the temp sender wire could make that stretch, so what is it? An owner mod, maybe?

Also, in the firewall grommet set I bought, one grommet has two holes in it. Where does it go?

Could it be that I mislabeled "oil pressure line" as "wire sensor?"

I looked at mine, the oil gauge line is thru the same large grommet as the wiper actuator cable.
