65 SB Radiator Hose

I have changed manifolds in my 65 small block "driver", going to an aftermarket Edelbrock and achiving the Winters '461 manifold and 2818 Holley. Heck, it's a 350 now anyway, so much for originality. The Edelbrock manifold has a water outlet on the engine centerline and I have purchased a late model (1977+) GM water neck. Does anyone know if there is a "formed" upper radiator hose rhat will fit this configuration? I really do not want to use one of those universal fit hoses. Surely there are others of you that are running this same combination?

If you are using thermostat housing GM #3877660, then I THINK that hose GM #3887154 will work for your present configuration. If it doesn't, then I don't know of any original-type, molded hose that will. The GM #3887154 hose is still available from GM for a current list price of $25.07.

The hose you noted is a really good fit. A NAPA dealer cross referenced it and I was able to get one yesterday.

Today, I am flushing out the old Dexcool and reinstalling new Dexcool and distilled water since the cooling system has sat open for the last couple of months.

Thanks for your help with the hose. Sure looks a lot better than one of those corrigated ones.
