    I am restoring a 1965 327/365hp coupe. I would like to know if any of my fellow members could recommend a good machine shop to do the engine work in the central indiana area. THANKS

      I believe John Lingenfelter's shop is in Indiana. I don't know the status of his shop as he was nearly killed (or killed- don't know)in a drag race last month in Pomona. He certainly knows Chevies!

          FYI - November 20, 2002 - John Lingenfelter's condition has improved so significantly following his Oct. 27 crash in Pomona, Calif., that doctors at Pomona Valley Medical Center have allowed him be flown back to his homestate of Indiana to continue his rehabilitation. He is expected to arrive later today and check into an Indianapolis-area hospital.

              I didn't hear he had an accident. Can you give us some details? Was he testing a car?
