    "660" Thermostat Housing for 1969

Was going through the 69JG. It states that the "660" housing should have an "alphanumeric" code on the "top", and that service replacements have the GM logo. Mine is stamped xxxx660 on the flange. There is nothing on the dome or on the radiator "nipple". It's the correct configuration with the recesses, etc. Was looking at Paragon's catalog. Noticed they have a housing with the numbers stamped on the radiator hose nipple on the top. Question? Is mine "NCRS correct"? Chuck

Chuck - Check the archives. The question has been kicked around at least once if not several times and I agree with Joe about it being "correct." Indications are that there were several sources; therefore the differences. Pete
