Part Number for EGR Valve-1979

Need the part number for an EGR valve. The car is a 1979 L-82 with TH350. I would imagine it is GM-discontinued but the number will serve as a cross reference for other suppliers.

The PRODUCTION valve was GM #17057520. The current SERVICE valve is GM #17113407 which currently lists for $84.61. Likely less through Delco. The configuration of this valve will differ somewhat from the original.

Very often, disfunctional EGR valves can be easily restored unless the internal diphragm is worn out. By using a Dremel tool with a small grinder wheel you can decarbonize the valve at the flange which mates to intake manifold. Then, check with a vacuum source for proper valve operation. If it operates with vacuum, it's likely fine for further use.
