    C1 - Hard Top Glass Date Codes

    Please excuse my lazyness, but could someone tell me what the following date codes from a 61 or 62 hard top lexan mean???
    AS 4 Drivers side
    AS 4 116 Back
    AS 4 960 Pass side

      AS-4 is a rating of the Plexiglas itself. The back glas 116 MIGHT be Nov. of 1956. The other two panels don't make any sense to me. Possibly the one with no date code was a Chevy purchased replacement. Regards,

          Jim, my 62 has AS4 on all three panels, then immediately to the right are 3 digits signifying month and year,ie: 5 6 1= May, 1961. The dates are in the rear corners of the side glass and the left side of the backlight. It looks like you have a 1960 side glass and the other two pieces must be replacements that are improperly dated or undated. My opinion. Chuck
