My grandmother purchased a 65 corvette for my father when he was 19. It was glen green, 327/350hp, 4 spd, posi 3.73 rear. Serial number is 194375S105487. I have a bunch of documentation on this car. When it was traded in, in 68, the dealer had it stolen off his lot. I am curious if this car ever surfaced, or did it meet it's demise. Dad used to race at Maple grove raceway, Pa, and was always on high street in Pottstown Pa street racing from 65 to 68. He used to run cheater slicks with yellow steel wheels. Anybody know of this car??? I would like to reunite the documentation with the current owner.
C2, I have documentation on a 65 vette, yours?

Try running an ad in the 'information wanted' section of the club's magazine, Driveline. It's a service that's free to members and you reach a MUCH wider audience as a minority of the club is computer literate and active on this site.- Top

I have '68 papers, NCM a repository?
I have the original papers to a '68 BB T-Top built in Feb, '68 and would also like to reunite them with the car. I've heard there's some kind of repository at the National Corvette Museum that will save this paperwork until the owner shows up, if ever. Does anyoine close to the NCM know of this? I know the wife is going to throw this stuff out when I'm not looking, so I need to get it somewhere safe!

Re: C2, I have documentation on a 65 vette, yours?
I have posted in corvette forum. I have original bill of sale, ET slips from the drags, registration card, and a bunch of other stuff, pictures from the 60's too. I think my dad would love to talk with the current owner. He can't afford a vette now though. Thanks for your help. How do I contact "driveline"- Top

Re: C2, I have documentation on a 65 vette, yours?
I think it is luck. I know mopars, and we have Galen Govier who keeps records and validates cars, but there are alot of papers sitting in peoples drawers like my Dad. I asked him if he still had them, he said he has paperwork on all the cars he ever owned. The next one to look for is a 64 chevy impala SS, he traded it in on the vette. Thanks for all the responses.- Top
