    Eric, check the connection at the Distributor that is the signal for tach. inside car. Its a single brown wire?? next to the pink battery feed. Also if you replaced the distributor cap and forgot to remove the metal connector under the coil you lose the signal. another thing is the coil its self has very small leads that plug into the dist. cap slots, Sometimes the wire (s) will break from vibration or careless handling. it is rare, but possible and have seen this before.
