    67 W/AC Hose Routing

I have a 67 base motor with A/C that I'm not sure how the hose that runs between the dryer and the expansion valve goes in relationship to the surge tank. This was the only hose that had been replaced and from what I can tell and wasn't properly routed along the inner fender before I got it. All the pictures I have taken of similar cars in preparation of my restoration are missing this detail. The AIM doesn't help much since it doesn't go into the detail I'm looking for. So my question is, does it go above or bellow the tube at he bottom of the surge tank or does it go around the heater hoses before heading down to the expansion valve? The pictures show the two examples.
    Thanks!

    Don,

Here are two examples. They are both over . The AIM has so many pages on C-60 it is hard to find it, but actually it does give a good picture on page 312 , and shows over . So I would say over .

      Re: 67 W/AC Hose Routing

      Jim,
Thanks for the pictures! The AIM I have it's on page C60 / D7 but doesn't show the heater hoses in relationship to the ac hoses so I wasn't sure. The new hoses I bought seem to be the same length of my two remaining originals so I can pretty much assume the one that was replaced was cut too short and was the reason it wouldn't reach "going over".
I only want to do this once!
      Thanks again.
      Don

        Don ,

Your welcome .Glad I could help. Like I said the AIM has so many pages on C60 . The page I cited is for the heater hoses, not A/C, and for 66. Other than that I was right on !
