dipstick handle

Anybody know how to get the dipstick handle off a dipstick so as to change the dipstick portion?

The handle on a 3862730 dipstick is crimped on. Why would you want to change the position? The "stick" part has a 90 degree twist (counter clockwise) about 6" to 8" down from the handle connection.

Do you have an "early" 1965 dipstick that does not have the 90 degree twist? Refer to the link below.

The OP wants to change the dipstick "portion" of his dipstick by removing the handle first...not the "position". My eyes are getting bad, as well
