When I lay my new set of carpet underlayment in the front of my 65 I noticed this:
Putting the front forward underlayment section in 1st on the passenger side (RH) it fits like a glove - very nice, when I lay the rearward piece down under the seat area the front leading edge overlaps the rear edge of the most forward piece by about 3/4 of an inch. Am I supposed to trim this off so that the 2 pieces butt up with minimal seam or what? The piece under the seat is positioned back as far as it can go. Thanks in advance for any help on this.
