    1964 Master Cylinder dates

    I know what the manual says, but are they Julian calendar dated or are they month day year? dated

    Dan, They is not a year date on 64's just month and day. (A- is Jan.). Unlike 63's they have month, day, year.

        Dan, I looked in the JM and I was wrong ,it is a Julian date for 64. sorry, Ed

          Ed what edition and printing JM do you have?

          My Fifth edition First printing says MDDY for 63 and the same thing for 64, thus my reason for asking.

            Dan, I have the latest edition (6th). there were quite a few changes, and still a lot questions in regards to the 63/64 cars.

              There are probably a lot of 64 style masters out there as it was used as a service replacement for 63's, and probably many more applications. It took me a number of years to get a correctly dated 63 unit, as a shop stole mine and replaced it with a 64 style.
