Where can Goodyear tires for a 1993 coup be purchased in the CT area? I need two new 255-45-17 and two 285-40-17 Looking for the last six months.

Wow, those are in great condition. I would jump on them if I needed them. I pick up a great set at CF for a good price. Helped me get my score up to 98.9 at the National Convention.

Thanks for all the info but I am looking for new. I have 16,000 miles on my 93 I bought new. I am concerned about dry rot and a tire blowing out. I do not want to have an accident with this car since I have always shown it in the super street class. I have won first place many times with this car. I drive this car like I stole it and the day I picked it up I drove to corvettes at Carlisle. All it needs is a new pair of shoes! Any leads are welcomed.

Okay, so you are NOT going to have the car judged and you want new tires, is that correct? Then I would be looking at something other than the GYs since you know they are on backorder. Look at something like Toyo Proxes.

I also have my gsc's that came with the car. I have a '96 CE with 12,000 miles on it. I bought a set of GY D3's for driving and keep the GSC'S for judging only. I keep them inside the house and was told to wrap them in plastic garbage bags and use a vacuum to suck out the air in the bags and zip tie them and don't lay them down stand them in the uprite position. If it weren't for the PV I would not have bought the GY'S because they are the correct replacement tires. I would have bought the MITCH.PILOTS
