Hi, I was looking to update all the decals on my 62. I was wondering if someone might be able to supply me with a complete list of where they should be located throughout the car? I'm sure that some have been removed and possibly not replaced over the years and so I'm looking to be sure I don't miss any. Also, from an originality standpoint, does it matter from where I purchase them or which decals I should get? Last question, the decal for horsepower which goes on the valve covers; does that go on both valve covers or only one on a 62??? I have heard two different answers on that? Thanks much for your help!!!

Re: 1962 Decal Placement
Most of the vendors supply all the decals, stickers, etc you are looking for. I have a C2 and I buy all my stickers from either Long Island Corvette or Paragon Reproductions. Check to see who has the most comprehensive listing of what you're needing for your '62 (as well as quality). When you find out who you want to buy from, they should supply you with a pictorial as to where they are placed throughout the car. I notice this is your first post...asking someone to list "ALL" the decals and placement is a bit labor intensive when with a few key strokes you can find the answers on your own. Half the fun of this hobby is the research. Best of luck and welcome to the Forum.Leif

Re: 1962 Decal Placement
From memory. There's decals on the two valve covers, the radiator, the expansion tank, the heater cover, and the windshield washer reservoir. The vendors sell a decal for the oil filter canister. But this was originally silkscreened.
Why don't you go to Paragon's or Corvette Central's or Zip's website and search for "decal" for your year?- Top
