wiper door won't open

hi everyone.

today i decided to get the relevent advance data for my engine.

as usual, after i started the engine, i check if the headlight doors and and wiper door open and close.
i pulled the headlight door override switch (under dash) and the doors opened and closed.
i also tried the headlight switch and the headlights went on and up. turned off the switch and the headlights went out and doors closed

i pulled the right wiper override switch nothing. the wiper door doesn't even move.
to see if the wipers work, i manually opened the wiper door and switched on the wipers. the windshield wipers work.

there seems to be some sort of a problem in the vacuum circuit.
when pulled the rubber plug from the actuator and i could hear the air rush in.
i have no hissing noises, and the engine runs fine.

could the problem be:
the wiper door actuator?
the wiper door relay valve?
the wiper door vacuum stop switch at the bottom of the passenger wiper arm?
the wiper solenoid behind the tach?

how should i troubleshoot?

any ideas

hi guys,
started my troubleshooting with the wiper door actuator.
in a way, i was in luck, the actuator would not hold a vacuum. i could blow air right through it both ways!
i looked inside and saw that part of the black membrane had come off the outer inside edge.
how long are these type of actuators supposed to last?
are these repairable?
i'll just order a new one.

Wolf,
Do you have a vacuum diagram for the wiper system?
If not, let me know and I will send one over. They just make it easier see what is going on some times if you have the diagram to look at.

thanks for the offer but i have the doc's diagram.
my problem will be solved with a new actuator.
