these were "add-on" units as the one I saw on my 66 was installed after I sold it in 1980 for $6500.00 to buy my new wife a brand new 1980 DODGE COLT RS for $6300.00 Still have the wife but no matching # 66 2 top conv.! I went to a car show and noticed that a vintage 57 or so T-Bird had a very similar looking unit on it.

Thank you to everyone for your input and feedback. What has just come to mind is that both these 63's with the holes are Canadian cars...could there have been something unique for export cars? In any event, the consensus is certainly that these holes did not exist when it left the factory. I will be filling them in.

The washer bottle rivets are installed wrong. The heads would have been on the inside of the wheel well with the shank on the bracket side. Certainly not typical, so something is going on with that. Some other tank may have been used at one time and the bracket was reinstalled.

FWIW, The steering column color looks more like 65 or 66 dark blue rather than 63. I recall that because I was sent this color by mistake and started using it before I realized the difference. This color is slightly lighter and has some "grain" to it, not metallic, but like fine gray particles.
