Ignition coil capacitor
Can anyone tell me the correct part number for the ignition coil capacitor for 1964 327 365hp? The coil is the 091. Thanks so much, I looked into the archives but can't find it. Michael Kalogridis

My guess it is the same as other engines as it is for the radio interference only. Again my guess it is 5 MF ohm rating. -

Check you AIM Section U69 - Sheet 7.00. The coil capacitor is part number 1960958. Long Island Corvette and others sell these.Don Harris

The Judging Guide also mentions the capacitor for the various HP engines. I was looking up something else today and read through that section. I recall that the capacitor that was used with the 091 coil had a black dot on it. FYI although the LIC capacitor may have the black dot, it does not pass judging. At least mine didn't in January.DougComment
