    Re-installing factory radio in a 96?

    When I bought my 96 last year, it has an aftermarket radio. (Bose speakers still intact). The factory radio and amp were included with it. Owners manual says something about security code if it was disconnected. I can't find anywhere what that would be! Am I going to run into problems hooking it back up?

    1973 LS-4 454 coupe owned 24 years

      Only if the word LOC appears on the display after you power it up. If it does, I can send you the unlock directions.

          That would be great. Is the security code set at factory, or was that something the previous owner would have enabled?
