Is the tank sticker in a 75 C3 on the tank like a C2?

Yes...but it is the landscape style versus the portrait style used from 1967-72!

I found a nice build sheet under the dash pad on top of the LH instruments on my 73

I know that they continued into the C4 era. At one point with C4s they stopped them since the same info is under the lid of the center console, but then restarted applying them.
I don't know if they still do, but I would not be surprised if they do.

Now days we refer to them as "build sheets." To the best of my knowledge no C6 or C7 is intended to have that paperwork in or on the car when it leaves Bowling Green. In the C6 era, at least to the start of 2013 MY, that was a single sheet with multiple copies used on various parts of the assembly line. That is the sheet you can get a copy of from the National Corvette Museum. Sometime during 2013 MY production they began to use different build sheets for body and chassis; and now in C7 production those multiple differing sheets continue. I believe there is no longer one sheet that contains all the build information, and there may be more than two different sheets.

My Oct. 94 built 1995 has the build sheet attached to the gas tank, starting at the top rear edge and wrapping around the the back side of the tank. As best I can tell, it is not glued on and is only held in place by the mounting strap for the tank. It is visible through the rear license plate opening, but not from underneath the car. (Picture should be rotated 180 degrees to the right.)

During the C5 era one build sheet was placed inside the front bumper bar. While on the line with my car in Oct '01 I was given that sheet by an assembly line worker. Later in the day another worker asked if I had a build sheet for the car. I showed him the one that was given to me. It was folded up from being put in the front bumper bar. He exchanged it for the one in the plastic bag taped to the hood.
