Delaware Valley Chapter / NCRS Run For The Ribbons Show

Just returned from the Run For The Ribbons NCRS/Top Flight judging show held at County Corvette in West Chester Pa. First time having my 65 Silver pearl coupe judged & attending a meet like this, big shout out for all the Delware Valley club members & staff for putting on a very professional & organized meet and for the folks at County Corvette for opening up the inside of there very spacious shop/s and letting us stage our cars inside there facility.
Judges were very polite and full of info on there findings with my car & why points were deducted on certain areas.
I left with a 2nd. place and can't wait to see my final score sheets on what I can improve upon to achieve TOP FLIGHT @ the next meet.
    P.S.
Glad it wasn't a true car show, competition would of been awesome..

    Thanks again
    All involved

    Charles,

Glad you had a good time. I was the one walking around taking pictures. Here is your car in action. Nice car. Steve and Bruce doing the judging in this picture a full of good info, hopefully they were able to answer all of your questions.

The Run for the Ribbons event has been going on for many, many years. Always very well run and has a great turn out.

    Tom

Congratulations; Del Val show was the first for me having my 65 judged also way back in 1982. Also got a 2nd flight on it as I remember. A good starting point on a great looking car.

The Delaware Valley Chapter 34th Annual Run for the Ribbons at County Corvette was such great experience for me. Firstly, County Corvette in West Chester, PA is a top notch service and sales facility with a staff second to none. The judges were friendly and most helpful transferring knowledge in all sections...Operations, Mechanical (I personally learned so much from the judges in this section), Chassis, Exterior and Interior. There was much respect and camaraderie among all owners, participants and the staff at County Corvette sharing information and stories about these beautiful cars. It truly was a privilege to see so many of these high end, well cared for Corvettes in one gathering. Earning a Top Flight Award for my 1966 Laguna Blue Coupe was such a great feeling. I would like to extend my gratitude to all involved...Thank You!
