My 2nd question is about the anti-freezecoolant. On this car it was changed on7-12-06 to a 50/50 reading of -34F. Anti-freeze is PEAK High Performance Formula and water is reverseosmosis. There are 1,503 miles and 8years 3 months which equals 99 months on this anti-freeze coolant. The solution is clean and tests at theoriginal -34F. What are your thoughts onthis as far as changing vs not changing? What are the pluses and minuses?

Re: Advice on Storage, Oil Changes & Anti-freeze
Sorry about the small print and run-ons guys, it looked good in the preview before submission. The copy above was done on my wife's laptop as a copy/paste so I wouldn't get timed out and lose what I had written on the NCRS page which has happened several times before, and which really knots my shorts. My old desktop has Windows XP so I don't want to use what I was most familiar with anymore.......... times change, and our "senior" (ain't I polite) eyes don't exactly eat up small print anymore either!

Many of us type our response in another program before pasting it here to avoid the time out issue. The size and shape of the text (font) can always be adjusted using the controls at the top of the reply panel.
As for your fluids, given that the car is going back into storage for another extended stay, I'd change them both.- Top
