C1 windshield installing help ?
In the process of installing my windshield into a 58 having problems in the corners. When installing I am not bolting the two screws in the mid but starting with the set right outside the center ones and working my way around to the larger screws on the window post( the one that break a lot). The challenge I am have is the corners are not setting down into the windshield dip as in the center. The center of the window frame is all the way down and touching the lip ... but the corners when the screws are really tight are still up, not flush, in the corners 1/4 of an inch. I am lost, I have several pictures to share if someone has experience installing this . Might be better to talk through it with someone if they are willing to have brief call. Thanks Eric

Do you have the rubber shims under the windshield posts?
Post a few pictures so we can get a better idea of your problem.
